Disk Tests
Always a good idea to check your storage drives with a utility like BlackMagic Desk Speed Test.
Was having issues with Pro Tools being unstable with a large session, even after a fresh system install. Turns out it was a disk speed issue rather than anything to do with CPU or software.
Challengers
Finally saw Luca Guadagnino’s latest film Challengers. Great sound work, visceral tennis match sounds, and an absolutely gloriously front and centre techno score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
